This figure was, as the title suggests, a visitor from a recurring nightmare. I would always wake just as she reached out for me through the darkness.

I started this drawing early in 2002; for reasons unknown to me even now, I tucked it away until 2010. Unlike most of my drawings, which are rendered in charcoal on paper, this was done with regular pencils on Bristol board. Once completed, all dreams containing the night-hag ceased.
